Overall a horrible experience. So our ordeal went like this. We stayed there for 2 nights in dec 2024. Had booked the room with ~35K tariff for 2 nights. So obviously we expected basic services to be in place. After long journey on day 1 when we reached there at 5 pm, we were allotted a room. Though visually room looked good but it had many issues right from the beginning - bathroom smelling like poop (literally), drainage issue, room had moisture problem, lock wasn’t working properly, no exhaust working, shower or hand shower was not working etc etc. We asked them to change the room but wasn’t available so we requested for a solution at least for the smell. From 7 pm to 10.30 pm many staff members came one after the other, kept checking, clueless what to do, nothing was done, no solution, the only thing they cud do was give a diffuser to sub-press the foul smell. The moment diffuser went off, the room got filled with smell. We were dead tired and just wanted to relax so we gave up as another room wasn't available and had to spend the night there. Obviously we couldn’t sleep properly. Day 2 we went for a trek hoping we will come back with our room changed. After whole day we came back tired and wanted to relax. We took a spa and came back to the changed room. To our surprise no hot water was coming in the washroom (during dec winters). Starting from 7.30 pm till 9 pm they kept coming to check but nothing happened. Warm water would come for 5 mins and then go away with their staff clueless about what to do. We had to take bath from cold water only. I am suffering from arthritis and I was in pain all night due to this. Again they could not provide a basic service. Till 9 pm the drama went on and on and again the second day was also lost. We spoke with the manager- Mr. Rajeev. Nothing happened, he just heard us, gave tape recorder response and left. He did mention he will talk to general manager and come back. But he just disappeared and was nowhere to be seen at time of checkout. The new side of the property was opened just 1 month before and they have so many issues. Also what they don't tell you while allotting rooms is that the lift is still under construction and you have to use stairs. Again a basic service missing. They also do not ask for preference in terms of floor. They just allot you room and then tell. If you wish to swap room then they will say it’s all booked not available. Staff is so irresponsible, for every small thing we had to call them multiple times till the work is done. Everyone has a typical taperecorder response on anything and everything. For e.g. one of the most basic things we asked was to replace towels ( as due to drainage water spilling in the bathroom they were used so needed replacement). Housekeeping took the old ones and never came back. After 1.5 hrs and 5 calls someone else came and gave the towels. These 2 days we struggled and wrecked our brains for most basic things in the room let alone the other issu
